Brace yourself for a very short blog~~

   Today was the boys first day back at school after a bunch of snow days,, I have to admit I was a bit relieved,, although, I did miss them too.

  Ed and I spoke of getting a dog for a while now,, so earlier this morning I had found a french bulldog puppy that I wanted to get, but first we needed the landlords permission,, and of course , he said no,,, I am still a bit upset about it all, but nonetheless it will make for something for us to look forward to when he gets back.  Instead of baby fever, we will have puppy fever! LOL~~~

   Tomorrow I hit the gym again full force, I really like how i feel after working out,, especially when im on a roll for a few weeks,,, wish me luck!

   And I posted a pic of Cyrus with his own self-portrait drawing he did for an assignment in school.  I figured I better get a picture of him with it before he turns it in because I dont know when I will see it again.  Hope you like!


Anyway,~~~  very busy, and blessed! 

  

   It was a beautiful but windy day here in the Palouse, I feel so bad for my boys though,, it seems the thrill with snow days has passed since being couped up in the house is no longer fun,,
  Yes,, we were outside quite a bit,, but like today,, the winds and cold weather were becoming a recipe for windburn on our lips and cheeks,, 0___o  I don not mind the "natural" lipliner and all, but it hurts!
   I took the boys with me to the mountain today with the hopes of getting at least halfway up to capture a large view of the Palouse with snow,, when we got there, it was dark dreary and a cloud topped the mountain.  Not to mention there were two bozos parked in the entry way to get there!! Seriously rude...
   Anyway, I did manage to capture a picture by pulling off to the side of the road on the way home,,  I pulled off and rolled down my window took the shot and drove off,,, it was wayyy too windy!  A true drive-by shooting~~ haha!
   Nonetheless, we are all looking forward to Spring,, I really hope we find out soon where the Army takes us,,  we are slated for Hawaii still, but want and need the ILE course in Kansas.  If we do still end up in Hawaii, this will be the last winter we will see with snow for years.  If we end up in Kansas,,,, well,,, then this will replay itself again,, along with some tornados,, LOL,,
   I still hope and pray every day that my husband returns home soon alive and healthy.... we miss him sooooooo much,,,,  its been over 15 months since he left,, and it will be another five until we live together again as a family,, should be interesting,,
   Still very grateful for everything we have, enjoying the snow while it is here and looking forward to a beautiful Spring!
 

Hoping I can keep up with my life here despite my short attention span~~~  Hang in there with me!  I get lonely!
